What we collect
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for your name, company, email address, a phone / WhatsApp / WeChat contact, your country or region, and your message. Company and country are optional; the rest is what we need to answer you.
Along with what you type, the form automatically records your IP address, your browser and device type, the page the form was sent from, and the time of submission. That is standard for a web form and we use it for one thing: telling real enquiries apart from automated spam.
Where it goes: the submission is stored in this website’s database and emailed to sales@baiyunfix.com. Our sales team reads it and replies. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone outside the company.
Blocked spam
This site filters automated form spam. When a submission is blocked, we log the time, the IP address, the reason, the sender’s email address and the first part of the message — so we can tell whether the filter is working and correct it if it ever blocks a genuine buyer. Those log entries are kept for the same period as enquiries.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from. It tells us whether the site is doing its job; it does not tell us who you are. Signed-in site administrators are excluded from the statistics.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes your data on Google’s infrastructure. See Google’s privacy policy. You can block it with Google’s opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
How you found us
On your first visit we store a small first-party cookie, byx_attr, recording how you arrived: any advertising click identifier in the URL, the campaign parameters (utm_*), the first page you landed on and the site you came from. If you later send an enquiry, that lets us see which page or campaign actually produced it. It contains no name, email or anything that identifies you personally, and it expires after 90 days.

Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser will not stop you using this site. The language cookie only means you may have to pick your language again.
Other services in the page
Google Fonts — the typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, so Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
Hosting — the site runs on Hostinger, which keeps standard server logs.
WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn — the buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to those companies unless you click, and then you are on their platform under their rules.
How long we keep things
Enquiries and their spam-filter records are kept for 24 months after your last contact with us, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off and honour anything we quoted. After that they are deleted. Analytics data follows Google’s own retention setting.
If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.
What you can ask for
Write to sales@baiyunfix.com and you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- send you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it to contact you.
We will answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the email address the enquiry came from, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
Children
This is a site for construction professionals and distributors. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If we change what the site collects, we change this page and update the date at the top.
